ITINERARY

DAY 1 - USHUAIA

Arrive to Ushuaia
Welcome to Ushuaia International Airport

Arrive at Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city, famously known as the “End of the World.” Nestled between the Martial mountain range and the Beagle Channel, this enchanting destination serves as the capital of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica, and the South Atlantic Islands Province. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and dense forests, Ushuaia is a gateway to incredible natural beauty.

In the afternoon, set off on an unforgettable boat tour through the Beagle Channel. This journey offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, rugged coastlines, and remote islands.

Your adventure includes a visit to Isla de Lobos (Sea Lion Island), home to vibrant colonies of South American sea lions and diverse seabirds like cormorants and albatrosses. Marvel at the sights and sounds of these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.

The tour continues past iconic landmarks such as the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and Bridges Island, offering stunning vistas and opportunities to spot dolphins, seals, and penguins (check sealife calendar)

DAY 2 - USHUAIA

First day of ski

After breakfast, transfer to Tierra Mayor area to enjoy a wonderful day in the snow.  We will combine different activities.

Discover snowy landscapes as you ride through the Fuegian forest on husky-drawn sleds, feel the adrenaline on snowmobiles, and relax with a hot chocolate in a cozy mountain lodge. An experience that combines nature, adventure, and fun in the snow.

We include transfers, access and equipment.

Return to your hotel and overnight

DAY 3 - USHUAIA

Second ski day!

After breakfast, transfer to Cerro Castor for a ski day of ski. Transfers, access and equipment included. If you prefer another activity or return for another snow day (as detailed in the previous day) it´s also possible.

DAY 4 - Ushuaia

Tierra del Fuego National Park and Good bye Ushuaia!

After breakfast, discover Tierra del Fuego National Park on a half-day excursion. Walk among pristine forests, rivers, and mountains, and marvel at Lapataia Bay, the southern end of the Pan-American Highway. If you wish, you can ride the famous “End of the World Train” through scenic valleys and learn about the region’s history.

Return to the city and free time until transfer out to airport. If your flight leaves late, you can add an extra activity.

Well, all the year is a nice time for that. During during spring and summer you will find more lightday, so it´s ideal for outdoors activities. It´s, October to April period. But also during winter season if you´re looking for snow and winter activities. It´s June, July, August and even September as the winter season is long in Ushuaia

Yes, but check the penguin calendar first.

Penguin Season in Ushuaia:

Main Season: Penguins are present from October to April (spring and summer in the Southern Hemisphere). This is when Magellanic and Gentoo penguins come to Isla Martillo to nest and raise their chicks. During these months you can do either a walking tour on the island or a boat tour to see them.

Off-Season (May to September):

The Magellanic and Gentoo penguins migrate north once the cold, dark winter sets in. Tours to Isla Martillo do not operate because there are no large colonies to observe.

Main snow season:

Runs from late June to early October

The peak is usually July and August, coinciding with Argentine winter school holidays. Snow can still be found in May/early June and sometimes in late October, but it’s less reliable.

Where you’ll find snow:

Cerro Castor – the southernmost ski resort in the world, about 26 km from Ushuaia. Open typically mid-June to early October depending on snowfall.

Valle de Tierra Mayor & Valle de Lobos – great for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, and snowmobiles.

Martial Glacier – accessible from the city, often with snow early and late in the season.

Yes absolutely. You can combine Ushuaia with El Calafate, or Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine. Check with your travel designer, to quote a special program with Ushuaia and any other destination in Patagonia.

Yes, the entrance to National Parks are included in your program. Anyway, check with your travel designer if you prefer to pay the entrance fee on the spot on your own. It´s also possible.
